Sales, Returns, and Refund Policy

This policy is issued in compliance with Republic Act No. 7394 (Consumer Act of the Philippines), Republic Act No. 10918 (Philippine Pharmacy Act), the Civil Code of the Philippines, and relevant Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, including FDA Advisory 2014-015, which mandates strict quality control in pharmaceutical handling.

Under these laws, medicines and pharmaceutical products are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable once released to the customer, except when the product displays a manufacturer defect such as contamination, damaged packaging, incorrect labeling, or when an FDA-mandated product recall is issued. Returns and exchanges are also permitted in cases where the pharmacy commits a dispensing error, including issuance of the wrong item, wrong strength, or an incomplete quantity. In all such cases, the product must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging unless the defect concerns the internal quality of the item. Customers must present the original receipt and the product being questioned within seven (7) days from purchase, except in cases involving product recall.

The pharmacy accepts cash, debit or credit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, and approved institutional purchase orders as modes of payment. As mandated under RA 10918, Sections 4, 35, and 36, payment for prescription medicines may only be processed after a licensed pharmacist reviews and validates a legitimate prescription. All payments for dispensed prescription medicines, special-order products, perishable medical items, and discounted or promotional items are final and non-refundable, consistent with RA 7394, Article 52, which prohibits deceptive practices and supports policies protecting product integrity.

In case of pricing discrepancies, the cashier’s price prevails, subject to pharmacist correction as required by RA 7394, Article 81 on fair and accurate pricing. Bulk orders may require a 50% down payment, with the balance due upon release. Cancellations may lead to forfeiture of the down payment unless due to supplier-side issues, consistent with Civil Code provisions on obligations and contracts.

Customers are strongly advised to check all items before leaving the counter. Once medicines are released, they cannot be resold or reissued in compliance with FDA Good Pharmacy Practice guidelines. All customer information and prescription data shall be processed in accordance with the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).
